(This is a short representation of the conversation between our hero and a soul needing guidance)

Hero:
Hey bro, why the long face,
You seem to always be in a rush,
Why don’t you slow down the pace,
Not everything is about the cash.

Lost Soul:
Hey bro, was hoping no one could see,
You see I’m just struggling to be me,
Define myself and know what I stand for,
And earn everything that I have yearned for.

Hero:
I feel you man, it’s the journey of humanity,
If you don’t manage it can lead to insanity,
It can cloud your mind letting go of the clarity,
Making you feel like a lost cause subject to charity.

Lost Soul:
Man, you couldn’t have said it any better,
I feel like I am destined for something greater,
Though I always find myself in situations lesser,
I always make mistakes that make me a stressor,
And I cannot even begin to talk about shida za pesa.

Hero:
Don’t worry about money it only comes and goes,
And no matter how much you make-it will never fix your woes,
All you need is the proper mindset to face your issues on your ten toes,
In my experience, your biggest enemy is yourself-you have no other foes.

Lost Soul:
I hear you, I hear you, but that doesn’t change how I feel,
It doesn’t magically erase all of the issues with that I deal,
It doesn’t make me feel better or like the man of steel,
In theory, it makes sense but that doesn’t make it real.

Hero:
To be honest, this is why God gave us free will and our own wit,
He made sure we all have access to the same knowledge legit,
The difference between us is what we decide to do with it,
You need to master your mind and emotions to develop grit,
But overall you should never allow yourself to quit.

What are you really doing if you think about it?
If you think to say your best I’d think to say I doubt it,
Too much untapped potential there’s no way around it,
I’m just here to find the king inside you and crown it,

What do you think is really the problem?
Why gamble with your life like Texas Hold ‘Em,
Instead, you should pick up the dice of life and roll ’em,
Look within you decide and choose your fate so solemn,

What can you do to change if you really wanted to?
For sure I know its never as simple as one and two,
You should gather your thoughts and run them through,
Positive scrutiny and let the lessons stick – glue,

Do you see the bigger picture long term?
To all of the distractions, you should be numb,
Make sure you add to your growth daily like sum,
The path to self-growth not many have come,

Lil homie told me to write something longer,
Says my poetry is growing stronger,
I say the only direction is forward so tafadhali songa,
Get your voice out there and be heard – bonga,

You manifest your reality you choose your fate,
You can choose to be weak or you can choose faith,
You can choose to be moving or you can choose to be late,
You can choose to strive on or you can listen to the hate,

You need to chose your path now I don’t see a reason to wait,
You can start by doing something a future you will appreciate,
Think back and say that what I started back then is the reason I’m great,
All that you will ever need is within you God chose your plate.

 

Find Yourself

You don’t have to drink or smoke to have fun,
You don’t need to fuck 100 bitches to find the one, (Excuse my French)
You don’t need to follow the society you were born,
You need to find your calling like a phone,

You don’t need to hold back tears to be strong,
You don’t need to be away from people to feel alone,
You don’t need to be lost to find your way,
You need to hunt your goals like prey,

You don’t need the money to be rich,
You don’t need to be in the system to find a glitch,
You don’t need to be low to know you’re in a ditch,
You need to find yourself and activate like a switch,

You don’t need to be happy to share a grin,
You don’t need to be judged cause of revealing skin,
You don’t need a family to know love like kin,
You need to know all you ever need is within.
